Due to company growth and an increase in the number and complexity of projects, Hackwood went to market to look for an information management solution. The inhouse Document Controller needed a solution to simplify, increase security, reduce potential errors and distribute information with ease.
The plan was to initially deliver a simple storage repository with the ability to check and distribute drawings received from design team and consultative teams. To be able to QA check information with revision control and access that information easily within an organised storage facility online gave Hackwood the control over their information they required. Over the years the functionality and complexity of process has increased with Hackwood’s experience using ProjectVault.
