The Background

TCM Limited are highly successful project consultants managing major development projects across the eastern region of the UK. They are development, project, construction and commercial managers specialising in mixed-use city centre developments. Experts in their field with a wealth of experience, TCM are currently managing the largest redevelopment site in the Norwich area where they are also based.

The Challenge

TCM Director Richard Dean required an easy to administer document management system to store and distribute information throughout a major 4-year multi-phase development project. The system needed to be online allowing easy access to all project members. The main requirement was simplicity, ease of use and ease of upkeep. It was also very important to be able to have auditable information for every document and drawing.

The Solution

TCM had seen some competitor products before meeting with ProjectVault to discuss how we could address the project requirement. Having previously been a user of ProjectVault in a previous role, the company director was most attracted to this system due to the simplicity and userfriendly nature of ProjectVault.

The Outcome

Using ProjectVault, TCM Limited have gained:

• Time stamping of documents action and inaction, providing TCM the ability to identify culpable parties in error.
• Bid and Tender Packages functions, allowing easy management of the process.
• TCM are now able to easily rectify any minor upload or document naming errors themselves.
